March Matters: Leadership, Inclusion & Preventive Health
💜 Women’s History Month
Women’s History Month honors the contributions, leadership, and resilience of women throughout our nation’s history. From public service to organized labor, women have played a critical role in advancing fairness, equity, and opportunity in the workplace. This month is a reminder to celebrate achievements, amplify voices, and continue building pathways for future generations of women leaders.
Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month
This month promotes understanding, inclusion, and equal access for individuals with developmental disabilities. It highlights the importance of workplace accommodations, community support systems, and removing barriers that limit opportunity. True equity means creating environments where every individual can contribute, grow, and succeed with dignity and respect.
National Nutrition Month
National Nutrition Month encourages informed food choices and healthy lifestyle habits. Proper nutrition supports energy, focus, and long-term health. Whether it’s choosing balanced meals, staying hydrated, or scheduling preventive checkups, small daily decisions can make a lasting impact. A healthy workforce strengthens families and communities.
National Social Work Month
Social workers serve as advocates, counselors, and protectors for individuals and families in need. Their work supports children, veterans, seniors, and vulnerable populations by connecting them with essential resources. This month recognizes their dedication, compassion, and commitment to strengthening communities through service and advocacy.
